Most of the residents of Los Angeles, especially those who live on the seaside are in a health- and gym mentality.
Even the company promotes a good and healthy lifestyle.
That’s why the office invited a representative from LA Fitness, to sign up all the employees.
Of course only for those who want to go to the gym, but they give the employees the opportunity to go to the gym at the expense of the company.
So I thought why not and signed up.
Let the “healthier” lifestyle begin.
Yesterday I bought an ironing board so I could do the laundry.
Look at this beauty
Today I went to the store to get some detergent, so I could wash my clothes.
But then I had a closer look at my washing machine and the dryer.
It says a lot of things, but no degrees.
And during my “laundry crash course” at home, everybody explained it in degrees, per item.
So all the help I can get, is welcome 🙂

A Night out in Venice Beach.
Afterwards we went to a sports bar
And after a few beers in the sports bar we went to Bungalow in Santa Monica.
I really like that place !!
Yesterday I had a great time getting to know the neighbors.
They gave me tips on where to go, what to do and so on.
They even gave me some fun facts about the internet.
That it was invented in California, the story behind it and that the first message over the internet was “login”.
In the meanwhile, I introduced them to some Belgium beers:
– Tripel Karmeliet
– Duvel
– Delirium
– Stella Artois

I Couldn’t get used to drink beer out of the “American” glass, so I bought myself a Belgian glass.
Starting to feel at home, away from home.
I had two great evenings with Filip!!
Now he’s headed to San Diego, because he’s going to travel across California for a month.
At the end of February he’ll be back in Los Angeles.
I’m already Looking forward to see him again and have some more fun nights in LA.

That’s why I’ve chosen to do 3 months of the internship in Los Angeles and one month in the Netherlands (at the Headquarters).
Furthermore , I thought it would be nice, that you could see the office in LA.
